The fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down in Cayman. After dark there are plenty of things to keep you busy, whether it’s sampling one of the many excellent restaurants, dancing the night away or engaging in something more active such as night diving or kayaking. Some suggestions for things to do after dark include:

Activities

While on Grand Cayman, there are a seemingly endless list of activities you can get involved in. If you want a break from the sun and sea, check out these popular things to do on an evening.

Book in for an art class in canvas painting, ceramics or glazing at any of the multiple creative studios across the Island - they often involve a tipple or two as well! 3 Girls & a Kiln offers regular drop-in glazing sessions, no appointment needed!

Book a Cooking Class

Chellamella offers a private, interactive cooking experience for groups of 2-6 looking to have some fun and learn a thing or two in the process. They supply all ingredients, equipment and place setting. Set-up and clean-up included. The National Trust and Bon Vivant also offer lively cooking classes.

Play Pickleball

The world’s fastest growing sport is hugely popular in Cayman. You can play at various locations across the island, including The Ritz-Carlton, Holiday Inn and the new courts at Pickleball Cayman. At all three of these spots, you can grab a drink and a bite to eat on-site.

Try Salsa Dancing

On Tuesdays, The Wharf offers a free Salsa lesson from 9.30pm-10pm. You can then continue Salsa dancing to their live DJ until 12.45am.

Play Laser Tag or Tenpin Bowling

Strike Zone provides adrenaline pumping laser tag fun that is great for all ages! Open Monday-Friday 5.30pm-8.30pm and Saturday 11am-10pm. You could also take the family tenpin bowling at King's Sport Centre, but make sure to visit their website for operating hours and rates.

Entertainment

If you don't fancy partaking in an activity, there's plenty of goings on to keep you entertained. Just sit back and relax.

A town filled with things to keep you busy!

Movie goers have various options: The cinema at Camana Bay has screens showing the latest movies and three VIP theatres with leather recliners and a full menu. In Camana Bay during the summer months, you can catch a family movie on the lawn under the stars on Tuesday evenings at 7pm. The Ritz–Carlton also shows family friendly outdoor movies every evening - order a pizza while you relax together and enjoy the evening under the stars.

Live Music

Cayman's bars, restaurants and all of the hotels all host a wide range of artists who perform on every night of the week. Check out our weekly listings for live music in Cayman.

Trivia

There are several bars that host trivia nights. It’s a great opportunity to flex your general knowledge and even win a prize or two. Most popular are quizzes at Salty’s Sports Bar and Lone Star.

Tarpon Feeding

You're sure to have seen the tarpon that lurk on the shore of George Town. Be enthralled by their lively splashes as they hope to catch a bite to eat. If dining at Casanova, be sure to ask staff to feed the them. Kids will love this feeding frenzy!
