The Local Music Scene in Grand Cayman
Find out where all the best local musicians play around Grand Cayman.
Cayman has a dynamic and diverse live music scene with local artists performing in a variety of musical styles. From Calypso style bands to internationally inspired resident DJs, there is something to please everyone.
Under the Music and Dancing (Control) Act, Christmas Day and Good Friday are now the only two days of the year during which premises with music and dancing licences are not allowed to play music or have a singer or live band play. On Sundays licensed premises must only play music at a “low background nature” which is not capable of being heard outside the boundaries of the premises in which it is being played.
