The Best Places to Stay in the Cayman Islands
Your guide to the best places to stay in the Cayman Islands from budget to luxury resorts, hotels, private villas and beachfront condos.
Accommodation options in Cayman generally fall into three categories: Large resorts, condominiums and villas, and guest houses/boutique hotels. Major resorts along Seven Mile Beach include the Ritz-Carlton, the Marriott Resort, Westin Beach Resort, Kimpton Seafire, Sunshine Suites and Hampton by Hilton. The Wyndham Reef Resort and Morritt’s Tortuga are located at the Eastern end of Grand Cayman.
Grand Cayman
There are numerous condominium complexes where units can be rented along Seven Mile Beach as well as in the Eastern Districts. Condo complexes are usually set in well tended gardens with swimming pools and often tennis courts and gyms. Private villas can also be rented in various locations throughout the islands. There are a handful of intimate guest houses/bed and breakfasts and boutique style hotels for those who prefer a more personal touch.
Little Cayman and Cayman Brac also have some interesting options for accommodation. Camping is not an option unless it is at Easter time and then you will be competing with hundreds, if not thousands, of locals for space on the beach!
Vacation Rentals
There are a couple of villa rental companies in Grand Cayman which have an impressive portfolio of houses, cottages, villas and apartments for rent in Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman. The unique thing about these properties is that almost all are on the beach whether it is Seven Mile Beach, North Side or East End. Plus they have places on the Sister Islands.
They also offer concierge-style services to help you plan your perfect vacation, and can advise on the best areas for couples or families with children.

Obvious places include the Ritz-Carlton and the Westin on Seven Mile Beach, but there is also the Caribbean Club which falls into the 'Boutique Luxurious' category, and Botanica which is a stunning collection of cottages, off the beach, but no less noteworthy.
Also worth a special mention is Le Soleil d'Or in Cayman Brac and the Southern Cross Club in Little Cayman.
