One of the world’s most treasured celebrations of food and wine returns in January 2021 in the Cayman Islands, the Culinary Capital of the Caribbean. Due to the unforeseen events of the ongoing year, the event will adapt in order to evolve and keep the beloved event tradition alive and will host a celebration that will include events for Cayman Islands residents and fully virtual or hybrid events for US guests.
With a renewed appreciation for the local community, Cayman Cookout 2021 will highlight a roster of all Cayman Islands-based chefs, many who have been part of the beloved event in the past. Cayman Cookout is incredibly proud to show case the immense talent and expertise in the local community and to celebrate through culinary art a year that has been difficult for all.
In addition, Cayman Cookout will benefit Cayman Food Bank this year, the first and only centralised food bank in Grand Cayman. The local organisation currently provides meals for about 400 people per week and currently the main source of goods for the organisation are local grocery stores, restaurants and distributors. Cayman Cookout is thrilled to come together in 2021 as a community through shared values and love of food and wine.
