The capital of Grand Cayman, George Town is a busy hub of duty-free shops, cruise ship passengers and busy harbour life. It's a wonderful spot to head to when you fancy some shopping, snorkelling or some tasty food. It's very easy to get to from everywhere on the island by hopping on a bus and the number of restaurants will satisfy any palette. 

Any of the below restaurants and bars are great options if you're looking for a delightful Caymanian dining experience. George Town can get busy, particularly if there's a cruise ship in. You're sure to get a table, but to ensure you eat at your favourite spot, remember to make a reservation.

For those wanting to travel that little bit further outside of George Town, Harbour Grille is a great options. Located in Harbour Walk, this bright and spacious space is the home of great comfort food. Don't miss their Pizza Night on Wednesday and their Surf and Turf Special on multiple days through the week.

If you're walking round George Town hoping for a truly Caribbean experience, make sure to take a trip to My Bar at Sunset House. Famed for their scrumptious curries and even better cocktails, you'll not be disappointed. 

Allora is a new Italian Café in Harbour Walk. Sister restaurant to Aria, and from the same team that brought you Agua and Next Door, it's a beatiful indoor and outdoor space serving some of the best coffee and pizzas on-Island.

The Brasserie is the home of the farm-to-table movement on Cayman. Growing most of their produce, and sourcing much of the rest from local farmers, their dishes are not only green, but simply delicious. 

A Mediterranean-style restaurant in Harbour Walk, Aria is a new-found favourite of many residents and visitors alike. It has become a destination for excellent food and fantastic service in a modern space that harps back to the traditions of Mediterranean design. Make sure to pay them a visit.

With a free daily shuttle service to and from the George Town airport, George Town Yacht Club is a great choice for travellers. Their varied menu caters to all tastes and you're sure to find you and your family something delicious. 

Famed for its spectacular location on the water's edge, as well as the delicious Italian dishes, Casanova is a must-try during your stay. Sit on the water's edge and watch as tarpon swim, hoping for a taste of the fantastic food themselves. 

Le Vele serves some of the best pizza in Cayman, and with their amazing sunset view, there's no reason not to pay them a visit. 

For dinner with a view, head to Guy Harvey's Boathouse Grille and watch the harbour at work. With traditional dishes, including many Caymanian classics, you'll be spoilt for choice.
