  • Almost lost my child!

    December 27, 2020 | Doctors Express

My 10 months old baby had started convulsing and my husband and i rushed him to Doctors Epress. I remember i was just crying and praying as i did not know what was happening to my child. On getting to the hospital i met two ladies at the reception and i explained to them what was happening. One of them asked me to head inside and she will get someone to check on the baby immediately,i had not even taken two steps when the other lady screamed...NO YOU CAN'T COME IN, YOU HAVE TO CALL AN AMBULANCE. I was shocked but i ran outside with my baby heading to the car as i couldn't afford to waste a minute when my child was in that state. Considering the time that would have taken for the ambulance to get to where we were( at the parking lot of Doctors Express) we decided to rush him to call the ambulance as we headed to ER. I thank God that my baby is well now. The two ladies were actually looking at us from the glass door as i was running to the car with the baby. Whenever i see the Doctors Express i remember the day i was chased out with my baby when i was helpless, with tears, holding my baby but my God does not fail, he never fails, and because of my God my child is well and healthy now. May God forgive the two ladies that chased me out that day as i already forgave them. Maybe they do not know the pain of holding your baby and being helpless not knowing what lied ahead then chased a way, maybe they judged me by my looks, maybe they were just following rules, maybe a child's life meant nothing to them but whatever the reason(s), i choose to forgive them.
