Taste of Cayman is Cayman's largest food and drink event held annually in Grand Cayman.
Taste of Cayman is held annually in Cayman. Over the past 32 years, Taste of Cayman has evolved into a major food festival, attracting in excess of 5,000 people annually, and over 45 restaurants plus local and international wines, liquors and brews.

Taste of Cayman began in the late 80's with a small number of restaurants from the Cayman Islands Restaurant Association meeting in a field to compete in a Chili Cook Off. Today the open air event attracts in excess of of 4,000 people and 36 restaurants plus local and international wines, liquors and brews.
Many of Cayman's best restaurants set up stalls at the event allowing you to sample your favourite restaurant's food as well as the chance to try a new restaurant. Restaurants at the event include Abacus, Anchor & Den, Burger Shack, Andiamo (Ritz-Carlton), Beach House-The Westin, Catch, Craft F&B, Duke's, Island Naturals, Mizu, Rum Point, Seven (Ritz-Carlton) and Thai Orchid.

Some of the island's best chefs mix it up in the state-of-the-art kitchen as they show guests how to make their favourite local and international dishes.
There are a number of awards handed out throughout the night by secret judges for Best Booth, Best Food, Best Drink and more. The most coveted award of the night however is the Cayman’s Favourite Restaurant award which is the only people’s choice award. Upon entry festival attendees will receive a wooden nickel which they will carry with them until they determine the one restaurant they deem deserving of the title! The winning restaurant, as voted by the festival attendees, will hold rights to the title Cayman’s Favourite Restaurant and receive a $1,000 cash prize.
Catch Cayman's best mixologists will compete in a live cocktail-making competition.
The popular heavy cake competition promotes awareness of Cayman’s unofficial national dish! Cash prizes are awarded to winners of the competition, and the finalist cakes are available for tasting within the area.
Dance the night away with international tribute entertainers. Accompanying the tribute acts will be local musicians and a line-up of Caymanian artists to be announced soon.
