Christmas Tree Lightings & Celebrations

Camana Bay Tree Lighting Join Camana Bay for their 18th holiday season and kick off event, their annual Tree Lighting! Enjoy a magical night under the stars as they bring you a special holiday market featuring a visit from Santa, local artisans, live performances and the lighting of their famous Christmas tree. Book an outdoor table at your favourite Camana Bay restaurant to take in all the spectacular lights. Saturday 15th November, 5pm-8pm.

Rotary Annual Tree LightingThe Rotary Club invites you to join them in celebrating their annual Tree Lighting ceremony in George Town. Enjoy carols by local school children. Monday 1st December 2025 at 6pm.

For the Birds: Christmas Edition Head to The Bird for a ladies only soiree in aid of the Cayman Islands Breast Cancer Foundation. Costumes encouraged with prizes for best dressed! Delicious canapés from Cayman's best female chefs. 2025 date TBC.

Annual Mistletoe All White Christmas Party Put on your best winter whites and dance the night away at the hottest party of the season! Mistletoe All White Party at Abacus is celebrating its 16th year! Enjoy live music, champagne, fine vodkas, aged rums, handcrafted gins, whiskey and tequila and get into the Christmas party spirit! Pantomime

Grizz and Frizz are taking a well earned rest this year so join the Prospect Playhouse this year for a Cinderella Pantomime! Starting on 28 November and continuing throughout December the Cayman Drama Society will be putting on a very Christmassy performance of Cinderella, panto style. Tickets will no doubt sell out quickly so book early to avoid disappointment!

Christmas Fairs, Markets & Bazaars

Get your Christmas shopping done and support local artisans.

Holiday Evening Market Start your Christmas shopping early with this festive market at Camana Bay from 4pm. Over 20 local arts & crafts vendors will display and sell their creations. Saturday 6th December 2025 from 4pm-8pm.

Pink Ladies Christmas Bazaar Join the Pink Ladies for their annual charity fundraiser. This is a fantastic event for the whole family to enjoy with photos with Santa, afternoon tea, activities for children, handmade crafts and plant sale, live performances from the National Choir and much more. The event takes place at the ARC, Camana Bay on Saturday 22nd November 2025 from 2pm-5pm.

Cayman Islands National Museum Christmas Market Celebrate the season at the National Museum’s Anniversary Christmas Market. Discover unique gifts from local artisans, enjoy delicious local food, and experience live entertainment for the whole family. With music, laughter, and festive spirit all around, it’s the perfect way to embrace the joy of Christmas while supporting the community. Saturday 22nd November 2025, from 5pm-8pm.

Holiday Farmers & Artisans Farmers Market, Camana Bay Every Wednesday throughout December 2025, Camana Bay's weekly market will be infused with Christmas cheer. Throughout December 2025.

Vigoro Seasonal Celebration A magical afternoon of festive cheer, exclusive offers ad holiday inspiration. Explore Christmas decor, trees, wreaths, ceramics, unique gifts and more. There will also be festive nibbles, refreshing drinks, live music and fun activities for the whole family. Sunday 22nd November, 2025, 12pm-3pm.

Small Business Holiday Market Come out with the whole family and enjoy the Small Business Holiday Market on Cardinal Avenue and Albert Panton Street. Don't miss live music, good food and products made by local artisans as well as family activities and photos with Santa! Saturday 6th December 2025 from 4pm-10pm.

Santa Sightings

Free Family Photos With Santa Claus Santa will be in Camana Bay this Christmas, visiting not just once, but three times! Have your photo taken with him for free! Don't miss him when he visits on 29th November, 7th December and 13th December. Timings TBC.

Santa's Landing Join the Kiwanis Club for a family fun day at the Airport Park. Every child can meet Santa (he is landing at 2pm!) Enjoy music, free books and entertainment. Refreshments will also be available. Saturday 6th December 2025 , 1pm-4pm *Santa arrives at 2pm.

Breakfast with Santa What better way to start your day this holiday season than with a delicious breakfast at the Turtle Centre with Christmas music, games, treats, and a special encounter with Santa Claus himself! Children will receive a gift for kid to take home and put under the tree. Sunday 14th and 20th, and Monday 21st December 2025.

Santa at Bedside Manor Join Bedside Manor for an afternoon full of cheer, magic, and merry memory-making for your little ones. Meet-and-greet with the big man himself! Share your wish list, laugh with St. Nick, and capture that perfect holiday snapshot to cherish forever. Our Winter Wonderland is ready for your personalised portrait with Santa, taken by a local talented professional photographer. Santa at Harbour Walk Get ready for a magical holiday experience at Harbour Walk! Santa Claus is coming to town, and this is your chance to meet him in person. Bring your family, take photos with Santa, and create lasting memories that will make your holiday season even more special. Friday 28th November and Friday 5th December, 2025, 5pm-7pm.

Christmas Truck Parade Get ready to be dazzled as the magic of the holiday season comes to life with the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Parade in Grand Cayman! Bring your friends and family out to share in this Christmas tradition and enjoy music, toys and of course meet Santa himself!

Tuesday 16th December 2025 from 5.30pm and beginning at West Bay Fire Station.

Scoobyluminations Head down to Rackams and see Santa who will be arriving around 6pm. Have a photo with Santa, enjoy some puppy cuddles and buy some last-minute gifts at the market stall. Thursday 11th December 2025

Santa at Bayshore Mall Visit Santa in his grotto at Bayshore Mall in George Town and light up your child's Christmas. Enjoy seasonal treats and holiday music as you explore this enchanting winter wonderland. Santa will be with us on 19th, 20th, 22nd and 23rd December from 3pm-7pm and catch him on Christmas Eve from 11am-3pm before he heads back to the North Pole to pick up the presents ready for delivery.

Christmas Carols & Concerts

Singing Christmas Tree The Cayman Singing Christmas Tree highlights the story of Jesus birth depicted through a 25 foot Christmas tree, 5,000 lights, cast, choir and orchestra. This year's production, which is free to attend, is shaping up to be even bigger and better with many well-known performers and local artistes. Lion's Centre, Saturday and Sunday, 22nd & 23rd November at 6pm.

Carols in Dart Park Join Dart and the Cayman Food Bank for a singalong to traditional carols and Christmas music at this free and festive community event. Carols in Dart Park will be led by Miss Izzy and the band, Carpe Diem. Saturday, 6th December 2025 at 5pm.

Christmas Sing-Along Spectacular Cayman Music School and Guests present a Sing-Along Spectacular. Enjoy all of your favourite Christmas and Disney songs performed by your favourite characters and you! Join on Tuesday and Wednesday 9th and 10th December at 6pm.

CNCF Christmas Concert A festive evening filled with holiday cheer with the Cayman National Choir and Orchestra. Enjoy musical performances, singalongs, and delightful traditional Christmas storytelling. 2025 date TBC.

Traditional Carol Concert The Elmslie Church hosts an annual Christmas Carol Concert. Sing along with the Cayman National Choir and Orchestra, a Resident Company of the F. J. Harquail Cultural Centre, to all your Christmas favourites! Tuesday 9th and Thursday 11th December, 2025, 7.30pm.

Festival of Christmas Praise Two evenings of festive music and community celebration. This annual event invites families and friends to come together in the spirit of Christmas. Attendees can expect uplifting performances featuring traditional carols, contemporary worship songs and special musical presentations by members of the church and local performers. Following each concert, guests are warmly invited to a finger-food fellowship in the breezeway — a time to connect, share treats and enjoy the warmth of the season. The event is free to attend and open to all members of the community. Friday 12th December 2025 and Sunday 14th December 2025, 7pm-9pm.

Carols by the Sea Hosted by the Sunrise Community Church, Carols by the Sea at the Kimpton Seafire Resort and Spa Beach Deck promises to be a a wonderful evening of music, community, and festive cheer. Sunday 21st December 2025 at 6pm.

Christmas Fun Runs & Cycles

Santa Run Dash around Camana Bay for their annual family friendly 3 mile Santa Fun Run in support of the Cayman Food Bank. Sunday 13th December 2025 at 6am.

Family Friendly Santa Cycle Families are invited to join a family friendly Santa Cycle on the roads around Camana Bay starting and finishing at Foster’s. Options of 5km, 6km or 10km distance - or shorter for younger riders! Bikes and scooters allowed. $25 per rider. Prizes awarded for best dressed participants. 2025 date TBC.

Jingle Bell Run Burn off those Christmas calories, along with hundreds of other runners, at this annual 5k and 10k Jingle Bell Run. A delicious breakfast is served after the run and spot prizes awarded. Santa will even make a special appearance! Proceeds are donated to the Cayman Islands Crisis Centre. Sunday 14th December 2025 at 7am from the Holiday Inn, Safehaven Drive.

Gingerbread House Workshops

The Ritz-Carlton's Gingerbread House Workshop Bring your creativity and use powdered sugar, peppermints, and candy canes to craft the perfect gingerbread house, working together as a family to create a masterpiece that you can bring home with you. You are provided one pre-assembled gingerbread house per family, frosting and candies to decorate it while children enjoy seasonally inspired sweet treats and hot cocoa. Christmas Tea Parties & Events for Kids

Nature Play Winter Workshops Join Baobab Education as they create space to allow imagination, curiosity, and fun as they use an interactive read aloud to explore winter through nature-based sensory play! They are offering two sessions of holiday fun this season. Sunday 7th and Sunday 21st December 2025.

Gingerbread Man Tea When the joy of Christmas meets a child's tea party, magical things can happen. Indulge in finger sandwiches and a tower of delectable sweets at the annual Gingerbread Man Tea. Adults will enjoy a selection of classic and herbal teas, baked scones, finger sandwiches and tempting pastries. Charlie's Chocolate Mad Tea Anchor & Den offers a double-themed afternoon that combines the magic of sweets, treats, and creativity for children, inspired by Willy Wonka's Chocolate, and a traditional Hatter-inspired Mad Tea party for parents. Children will be invited into a world of pure imagination when they take a seat at the edible creation stations to try cookie decorating, cake pop making, and fairy bread designing. While the little ones are entertained, adults can enjoy an inspired afternoon indulging in the classic ritual of afternoon tea. 19th, 20th and 22nd December 2025, 2pm-4pm.

Christmas Movies

Christmas Movies at the Cinema This festive season, enjoy a wonderful line-up of Christmas classics at the cinema. From heart-warming favourites like Home Alone and It’s a Wonderful Life to action-packed hits like Die Hard and timeless tales like A Christmas Carol, there’s something for everyone. Check the schedule for more details.

Moonlight and Movies Head down to The Cresent at Camana Bay for a double feature screening of two family-friendly Christmas films - Merry Madagascar (PG, 2009) followed by Shrek the Halls (PG, 2007). Bring your blanket or lawn chair for comfort and share in the holiday spirit, combining beloved animation and community gathering in the heart of Camana Bay. Tuesday 16th December 2025 from 6.30pm.

Christmas Lights

Decorating private homes with thousands of twinkling lights and creating beautiful Christmas scenes is a source of immense pride in Cayman! Take an evening drive around the Island (it gets dark around 6pm) and you will see stunning nativity scenes, plus Santa, snowmen, reindeer and a whole lot more!

Top homes to check out include the Crighton family home, 389 South Church Street, across from Sunset House. Another favourite is Al and Melissa Thompson's home at Sea Alissa, 705 South Church Street across from Smith Cove.

Some homes will even leave their gates open so you can wander around and marvel at the magical, seasonal displays. December 2025.

Light Show at Camana Bay Enjoy the spectacular light display at the 42-foot tree with three shows every night at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm, with a new show every week. Each show will dazzle with music for the first five minutes, followed by 10 minutes of animated lights. Nightly from 15th November 2025-4th January 2026.

Christmas Day Lunch

One of the biggest nights of the year in Cayman! Alternatively get a bunch of friends together and decamp to Seven Mile Beach to watch the magnificent fireworks displays at midnight!
