Distillery Tour
Tortuga started producing its first Cayman-made rum in 2018. Realising Robert Hamaty's dream, the company built distilleries at its stores in Seven Mile Shops and West Bay. Visitors get a literal window into the production process. The distillery, behind a large glass window, can be seen from the shop and tourists can learn how rum is made and bottle their own to take home. These Cayman-made rums are bottled in our signature ship bottles, with proceeds supporting the Fair Weather Foundation and its mission to protect Cayman’s marine environment. Learn more!
