Pirates Fest 5K Sea Swim

Pirates Week activities start with a splash when swimmers take to the water for the 44th Annual Open Water 5K on Saturday, 12th November 2022.

Where:  Governor’s Beach
Time:  Race starts at 7:00 am. (Check-in and body marking is at Governor’s Beach from 6:00 am to 6:45 am)
Cut-off Time:  2 hours and 15 minutes from Race Start
Course:  Start/Finish at Governor’s Beach
Distance: Select either 1k, 3k or 5k when you checkout below
Awards:  Prizes for overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd and prizes for age group 1st, 2nd and 3rd. T-shirts and refreshments also (bring own refillable water bottle).

If weather conditions threaten the safety of the swimmers or organisers, the race may be cancelled at the discretion of the Race Director.
