Cayman Arts Festival presents Music at the Library

Cayman audiences are invited to an exceptional evening of chamber music…
The autumn season opens with an exceptional evening featuring two outstanding local artists: pianist Glen Inanga and cellist Dequan Smith.
For Dequan, this concert has become a cherished tradition before he returns to the UK for another year of studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. A former winner of the Butterfield Young Musician of the Year and a finalist in the Young Musician of the Caribbean Award (YMoCA), Dequan is expected to captivate audiences once again with his artistry and passion.
Programme – 18th September
Chopin – Cello Sonata in G minor, Op. 65
Beethoven – Cello Sonata No. 2 in G minor, Op. 5 No. 2
The performance will take place at the George Town Public Library, an intimate venue with limited seating. Attendees are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
This promises to be an inspiring start to the season.
