The workshops take place on:
A delve into Cayman history, ancestry and culture as this workshop series invites participants to learn and recreate the local craftsmanship of yesteryear.
Each workshop focuses on a different craft:
- Traditional Thatch Plaiting - Saturday, 29 April 2023 from 10am to 11am (Intergenerational Hub behind Airport Fosters)
- Quadrille Dancing - Sunday, 28 May 2023 from 3pm to 4pm (Intergenerational Hub behind Airport Fosters)
- Macaroni Pudding - Saturday, 24 June 2023 from 3pm to 4pm (Location TBD)
- Rag Rugs - Saturday, 23 September 2023 from 3pm to 4pm (Intergenerational Hub behind Airport Fosters)
- Rope Making - Saturday, 28 October 2023 from 3pm to 4pm (Intergenerational Hub behind Airport Fosters)
- Wreath Making - Sunday, 26 November 2023 from 3pm to 4pm (Intergenerational Hub behind Airport Fosters)
