Beach Clean Up, Plastic Free Cayman
Join Plastic Free Cayman for a community beach clean-up focused on protecting the island’s coastlines and marine life. Volunteers will work together to remove both large debris and microplastics, as well as tackle illegal dumping in surrounding areas. Every piece collected contributes to a cleaner, healthier environment. Free to attend, with optional Plastic Free Cayman shirts available for CI$25, supporting ongoing environmental initiatives.

Date: Sunday, 26 April 2026
Time: 8 am - 10 am
Venue: Barefoot Beach, East End
This event is suitable for individuals, families, and community groups interested in environmental conservation and outdoor volunteer activities.
Join the movement and help protect Cayman’s coastline through collective community action.
Additional Information
- Location guidance: East End, north coast on Queen’s Highway; take Frank Sound Road and turn right towards Morritt’s, look for the PFC flag
- Participants are encouraged to bring: a mug (for coffee), reusable gloves (some provided), hat, reef-safe sunscreen, shoes, and a reusable water bottle (water will be provided)
- Cleanup will target large debris, microplastics, and illegal dumping areas
